Good practice. The community garden is a wonderful place to paint. I've been working on gessoed paper with acrylic, 16" x 20".

This summer we have a 20' space in the community garden at Adams Farm, Walpole, MA. My oldest grand daughter and I are hard at work painting.

"Ship Builder"

When a canvas sits around the studio it's easy to pick it up and start making changes. I changed this image of Gus working on a boat from a dominant yellow to blue. (It's been cold and raining.. ) acrylic on panel 16" x 20"

"Common Yellowthroat"

Acrylic 44" x 48"   This is my final painting for this spring. We sometimes see these Common Yellowthroat warblers in our dune grass.

Painted Buntings

acrylic 26" x 30" The canvas is almost done. There a few refinements I want to make when we get back to Florida in October. We're packing for the drive to Massachusetts.

Some of my new pottery is displayed on our living room shelves. The bases on the middle shelf are hand built. I made them for my husband to display his bonsai. The very small pots are for "mame", small companion plants for larger bonsai trees.
